Welcome to DriveLink Driving School. By enrolling in our driving programs, using our website, or interacting with our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

To register for driving lessons, students must:

• Be aged 17 or older (16 or over if disabled)

• Hold a driving licence that is valid for the UK (provisional, full or an appropriate foreign licence)

• Disclose any medical condition that may affect driving ability.

2. Lesson Booking and Cancellation

• All lessons must be booked in advance and confirmed via email, phone, or our online booking system.

• A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee or forfeiture of the lesson.

• DriveLink reserves the right to reschedule lessons due to unforeseen circumstances, such as instructor availability or vehicle issues.

3. Payments and Refunds

• Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.

• Payments can be made online, in person, or via phone.

• Refunds will only be provided for unused lessons, and any refund requests must be submitted in writing.

• No refunds will be given for missed or forfeited lessons.

4. Student Conduct

If on lesson day no show within 15 minutes at the location of pick up without any text message or phone call the lesson will be charged in full for the hours that’s been booked.

5- Short Notice Test Bookings

A short notice test is when there are ten weeks or less from the date of the first planned driving lesson to the booked driving test date. Before making a booking or payment for a short notice test, please be aware of the following terms and conditions:

• Booking of a Short Notice Test package consists of eleven hours’ worth of instructor and tuition vehicle time.

• During the first two hours and subsequent three 2-hour driving lessons you will be assessed by your instructor. If after any of the lessons the instructor tells you that you are not ready for an attempt at your driving test, the instructor will not take you to that test.

• If you need additional tuition prior to the test the instructor will explain this to you. You will need to be available for the time slots your instructor is available should you wish to take these driving lessons. If you cannot take the required hours prior to your test date, the instructor will not be able to take you for test.

• You will need to pay for eleven hours of driving lessons prior to the first driving lesson commencing, which is not refundable if the instructor says you are not ready for test. The balance of your funds or hours can however be used for further driving lessons.

• The Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency stipulate that you need to give ten clear working days to cancel your driving test. You may / will lose your Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency test fee if the instructor says you are not ready for your test dependent on the gap between your last driving lesson and the driving test.

• If you change your mind after you have made a short notice test booking and wish to cancel your booking prior to the first lesson, our standard cancellation and refund terms and conditions apply with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice required prior to the first driving lesson.

• The driving lesson price is at the 10 hours package rate plus one additional standard rate hour for driving lessons in the relevant postcode area.

6. Instructor and Vehicle Safety

• All DriveLink vehicles are dual-controlled and insured for instructional use.

• Driving lessons may sometimes need to be cancelled at short notice due to adverse weather conditions, a fault with the driving instructor’s car, the driving instructor being ill or some other emergency or unforeseen occurrence. Every effort will be made to notify the student as soon as practicable.
  The driving instructor will rearrange any appointment to a time suitable for both parties.

• If the instructor believes that continuing a lesson would pose a risk, they may terminate the session at their discretion.

7. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected will be used solely for registration, communication, and internal record-keeping. We do not share or sell your data to third parties.

8. Limitation of Liability

DriveLink is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage incurred during driving lessons or while attending classes, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes to Terms

DriveLink Driving School reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
